My name is Timber Burnette. I’m a plant physiological ecologist currently studying tree seedling mortality from drought. I am currently a PhD student with Dr. Anna Sala at the University of Montana and funded through the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP). I graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in Biology with Honors in 2019 and from the University of Kansas’ Dr. Joy Ward lab with a master’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2020.

I created this website with the intention of sharing my passion for plants, my research on them, and my various resources about them. I’ve always loved plants. I hope that through this website you’ll come to enjoy them as well!
